We were commissioned to produce 21 off, bespoke planchest units for the Royal Engineers Museum, the planchests design incorporated the unique drop down front design, which with the simple flick of the wrist the front of the drawer swings down allowing a smooth unbroken entry to the drawer, this is especially useful when handling fragile maps or documents.
Each unit had anti-tilt and locking as standard and to finish the planchest each unit was fitted with a lockable Perspex display case to the top panel of each unit.
